The Board of Directors has set the date for the BVB Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 pm at The Black Bull, 1124 Guelph Line.
The AGM will follow the League's standard agenda, featuring year-end reports from the Board of Directors in respect of the major areas of responsibility, fielding of questions/comments from the membership regarding League operations and voting to install the 2014 Board of Directors.
If you are interested in running for a position on the 2014 BVB Board of Directors, please forward your nomination to confirm your interest to me (Greg Kerr) via e-mail by no later than Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Other than the position of President, which will be required to be filled by those individuals who have previously held a position on our Board of Directors (i.e. prior to, but not necessarily during the 2013 season) and continue to be active members of the league are also eligible to run for President.
In addition to standard year-end business, this year the AGM will also serve as a year-end banquet/League get together. This determination was made as a result of low attendance to the separate League banquet event in the past couple of years. Accordingly, year-end awards will also be handed out after the completion of official League business and food will be available for all attendees.
